In order for GSE staff to gain access to Evenzilla the staff member must complete the following training components:
Once the components above have been completed you will be invited as a user and gain access to the HTH GSE Eventzilla account.
When you are invited to access Eventzilla you will receive an email notifying you. This invitation will be sent directly to your @hightechhigh.org account. If you cannot find the email invitation start by checking your spam folder. If the invitation cannot be found, please email pyurick@hightechhigh.org requesting a resend of the invitation.
The invitation will contain a link to reset your password. Make sure you use a secure password and log it somewhere safe. We recommend that staff use Lastpass to manage their passwords and password security.
Please refrain from sharing access to your Eventzilla account with any other HTH GSE staff members. All staff members must complete all steps within this tutorial series to gain continued access to Eventzilla. This is due to the fact that there are many specific steps in subsequent tutorials which cannot be altered due to our data management systems and business management.
If at any point in using Eventzilla, you see a feature that requires an upgrade to be used, DO NOT click on ANY “upgrade” buttons. Attempting to upgrade your account can negatively affect all GSE Eventzilla accounts.
We’re in a PRO level account with PLUS level features. This means we have access to many features from the PLUS level while only paying PRO account costs.
If you feel you need to use the features that claim to require upgrades, contact Eventzilla to get more information first. This can be done by clicking on the Question Mark in the top right of the screen and then clicking on Contact. You can ask Eventzilla support about the feature you are curious about. If you do not receive a clear answer from Eventzilla, contact the Experience Design Team via the HTH Zendesk regarding this feature.
As you enter Eventzilla, you may receive a pop up regarding information about the Eventzilla Virtual Platform. DO NOT click on this, feel free to click “Never Show Me This again” in the bottom left corner. The GSE will not be utilizing this feature. You will still be able to host virtual events on Eventzilla without accepting this offer.
